Jakub Stępień aka Hakobo (born 1976 Łódź, Poland) is one of the 50 most important poster artists in the world today (according to John Foster, author of the book New Masters of Poster Design: Poster Design for the Next Century). He also feels great in visual identification, activities on the borderline of art and design, in fashion and in general - applied graphics. He cooperates with many cultural institutions in the country, e.g. with the Museum of Art in Łódź, CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Poster Museum, Design Gallery BWA Wrocław, Zachęta National Gallery of Art. Since 2001, he has been creating Hakobo Studio, where he works as an art director and graphic designer. His clients include: Andrzej Wajda, Netflix, Łódź Design Festival, Wyborowa, Vans, Universal Music, Ossolineum, 100CZNIA, Pogo Skateboarding and others.
